Base your
rates on article completions or word count; don't offer hourly rates. Receiving
pay based on hours worked limits your income potential since only a fixed
number of hours exists in a day. Charging based on the number of articles
completed or the number of words written connects your pay directly to your
input. If you write five articles instead of one in an hour, you receive more
compensation. But in the case of hourly rates, you would receive the same pay.
